Flowers by Paulette has been a fixture in the heart of Lancaster city for over 25 years. Located between the burgeoning art galleries of Gallery Row and the funky stores of North Queen Street, our shop is right in the center of any visit to downtown Lancaster. We’re also just a few blocks from the newly opened Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.

Over the past 4 years, despite the difficult economic conditions, our business continues to grow, which we believe is due to our continued focus on product quality, customer service, design creativity, and our continuing involvement in our community. In addition, in September of 2010, we merged Lancaster’s oldest florist – Fries Flowers – into our business. Not only has this increased our customer base, but it has added experienced talent to our staff. Click here to meet our team. In addition to our wide assortment of fresh and silk flower arrangements, Flowers by Paulette offers a variety of gift items including gift baskets, dish gardens, braided bamboo plants, unique glass and ceramic vases, personalized glassware, and pottery and photography from local artisans. Upscale a basic lovely floral arrangement with one of our exclusive vases for a really special gift!

Flowers by Paulette is actively involved in the city’s constantly expanding art movement by participating in Lancaster City’s First Friday event, featuring different artists in our store nearly every month, often providing space for unknown artists who otherwise would have no place to display their talent. We also participate in other special events, such as Music Fridays, Art Walks, etc that occur throughout the year.

Of special interest to our shop are charities and giving back to the community whenever we can. In addition to providing free or reduced-cost flowers to many organizations, we have raised thousands of dollars for a variety of local charities. As an example, in each of the last three years we have had a fundraiser for the Amani Children’s Foundation, whose work supports orphanages and the promotion of adoption for children with aids in Kenya. We’re proud to have raised over $6000 just for this organization during this time. In addition, every year we have sponsored blood drives for both Lancaster General Hospital and the American Red Cross, donating bouquets of carnations and discount coupons to all blood donors. In 2010, for our 25^th Anniversary, we provided an additional $2500 in donations to 10 local individuals or organizations who work primarily in serving youth in a variety of ways.

As we move into 2011, we will continue with our community outreach as well as finding new ways and more interesting products to service our customers even better than we do today. Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm Thursday and Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. o Saturday.

Bridal consultations can be scheduled on Saturdays.

We are closed on Sundays.



To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, the day after Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

A local delivery fee of 8.95 ($5.00 for Lancaster hospital and funeral homes) will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

Our minimum for delivery is a $30.00 order plus delivery.

U.S. orders must be received before 1:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
