April/May Events

On Sunday, April 15th, we will be participating in a Quinceanera Showcase from 1P-5P at Clipper Magazine Stadium, home to the Lancaster Barnstormers baseball team. Join us and numerous other vendors displaying their wares at this first-of-its-kind show in Lancaster.

Also in April and May we will continue our support of the local charity You and Me on a Comeback as they help three cancer patients adjust to their illness and their treatments. Each month we will provide flowers to the patients undergoing the assistance of this wonderful organization. Check them out at www.youandmeonacomeback.org.

May will be a crazy month for our staff. Last year’s Mother’s Day sales were a record and we expect an equally busy time this year. In addition to that holiday, all the weddings we have lined up, and the usual influx of prom work, we were again chosen to provide the flowers to the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s premier event – the annual Chamber Dinner. Last year we prepared over 240 centerpieces and stage pieces for the attendees to listen to former president George Bush. This year Tony Blair, the former prime minister of Great Britain, will be the featured speaker. This year additional pieces will be required for the bar/reception area and an overflow dining area. Unfortunately, this event will be occurring during Mother’s Day week, which means our typical long hours will be even longer. On top of that, one of the local colleges is also having their spring banquet that same week! If you have any design skills, give us a call!!

Once again this year we will be donating money to Mom’s House for M-day. 5% of all our M-Day sales will be given to this worthy organization. Check them out at www.momshouselancaster.org.
